In 2003 I founded Organizing 4 U with my good friend Muffy Kaesberg, and we became the first team of Professional Organizers in Ohio. As Professional Organizers, we assist individuals who are overwhelmed with clutter and disorganization in their homes and offices by providing hands-on organizing assistance and transferring skills to make life simple.
We are both members of the elite Golden Circle of the National Association of Professional Organizers, helped found, and serve on the board of, the local chapter of NAPO, and also belong to Eldercare Professionals of Ohio. The Organizing 4 U team has provided expert advice for Ladies’ Home Journal, Northern Ohio Live, Cleveland Magazine, the Cleveland Plain Dealer and Sun Newspapers. We have also appeared on Channel 5 News, That’s Life with Robin Swoboda, and Golden Opportunities with Armond Budish.
Last year we published Where Can I Find It?©, a book designed assist individuals in identifying their various important documents, and a tool to help others in the event of an emergency. We created this book because we have encountered so many individuals who do not know where to find important paperwork for themselves or for others during times of emergency.
This blog will be a collection of tips on organizing that I hope will serve as inspiration for anyone wanting to become and stay more organized. I also plan to comment on articles, TV shows, books, and even comic strips as they relate to organizing.
On a personal note, I am married and the mother of two teenage girls. My personal interests include gardening, sewing, weaving, genealogy, and travel.
